Resnick and Hoskins Join Collaborata as Strategic Advisors

CHICAGO, July 19, 2017 – Collaborata, the digital marketplace that brings research buyers together to share project costs, has named Stakeholder Advisory Services Managing Partner Jeffrey Resnick and Quester President Tim Hoskins as Strategic Advisors to its board of directors.

Collaborata is the first platform that connects market researchers to share project results and costs, bringing the sharing economy to the insights industry. The company’s co-founders are former TRU CEO and founder Peter Zollo and Jimmy Zollo, an early employee for tech “unicorn” grubHub, where he developed new markets.

Resnick previously served in a variety of executive positions for ORC International including President of its US Group. He served as board chair of CASRO (now the Insights Association) in 2012.

“Collaborata is a unique global market for shared-cost research and may well represent the future for researching issues impacting a broad range of industries and the customers they serve,” said Resnick. He added, “In an era where research budgets will remain challenged for the foreseeable future, Collaborata provides a vehicle to acquire the information needed to better understand the environment in which companies operate.”

In addition to leading Quester, Hoskins is a board member of the Insights Association (formerly the Market Research Association and CASRO), where he also co-chairs the Corporate Researchers Conference.

“The first time I heard about Collaborata, I said, ‘now, this is something that will help promote and grow the industry for everyone,’” Hoskins explained. “They’re leveraging the sharing economy to fund more research projects.
